Theming: The Hippie Homicide story involves characters at Woodstock 1969. The story involves the challenges of running Woodstock, flower power and antiwar protests. Normal Use: Hen's night, fundraiser or adult party. Adult Themes: There is mention of drug use and LSD is a major theme in the story. Group Size: 15-60, 60 to 120. Setting: Woodstock 1969. Costumes: Guests can come as their favourite 1960s icon e.g. The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix or Janis Joplin. Or they can dress as a hippie, astronaut, soldier, police officer, Rastafarian, politician, flower child, musician or any 1960s stereotype.
How Do Costumes and Characters Work? To make the game as easy as possible to organise your guests do not need to dress as any particular character. The costume they wear does not affect the character they play in the murder mystery. We allocate the murder mystery characters on the night of the party. This means that if guests are sick and can't make it or extra friends want to come then there is no impact on running the game. The Story: We are gathering for the concert of a generation. Woodstock will see 32 acts play over 4 days. 500,000 people will attend and another 500,000 will be turned away. At the height of the Vietnam war there will be a hippie homicide.
