A Time Travel Party is an immersive adventure that takes you to another point in time. You guests will enjoy an outstanding night of fun as they rise to a challenge and enjoy a whacky series or activities to restore peace and prosperity to the galaxy, concert or other crazy point in history! There is no murder in a Time Travel Game but a quest to bring balance.
Theming: The overall aim of Wild Woodstock 1969 is to earn enough Little Smiling Daisies to open the heart and release the Antidote to Fear – thus creating World Peace!
The Story: We are gathering for the concert of a generation. Woodstock will see 32 acts play over 4 days. 500,000 people will attend and another 500,000 will be turned away.
Your guests will work in small groups and the five groups of Wild Woodstock 1969 are:
Roadies (blue) – the awesome organisers and logistics legends
Protesters (green) – the angry young men and women on a mission
Gurus (white) – the enlightened ones
Hippies (yellow) – the flower children
Musos (purple) – the hip and groovy performers
What are the game stages?
Welcome by the presenter and the opening game.
Round 1 Introductions: To build atmosphere, get into character and find out who else is at the event.
Round 2 Sharing Your Gift: To share their gifts with the other people at Woodstock and – as such – earn Daisies.
Round 3 Quiz: For fun, interaction and atmosphere and to earn more Daisies.
Round 4 Protests: Generate social change and flower power.
Round 5 Woodstock Performance: To bring down the house and earn more Daisies.
Climax: Announcement of who will be the Custodians of the Fear Antidote.
Normal Use: Hen's night, fundraiser, teenage or adult party. Adult Themes: There is mention Little Smiling Daisies and drug use may come up during the game. Group Size: 15 to 60. Setting: Woodstock 1969. Costumes: Guests can come as their favourite 1960s icon e.g. The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix or Janis Joplin. Or they can dress as a hippie, astronaut, soldier, police officer, Rastafarian, politician, flower child, musician or any 1960s stereotype. How Do Costumes and Characters Work? To make the game as easy as possible to organise your guests do not need to dress as any particular character. The costume they wear does not affect the character they play in the murder mystery. You allocate the Time Travel game characters on the night of the party. This means that if guests are sick and can't make it or extra friends want to come then there is no impact on running the game.
Will you put on a 45 and Time Travel back to 1969?
